Statement
Huge Thank You's to the following people who have contributed in part, small or large, to help make a dream a reality:

To Jo-Nannie, for making me feel loved, special, and, 20 years younger.   A remarkable woman.

To Pendle Hill, for being there when I needed her most.

To my peers, the songwriters and lyricists, who were the catalyst of my passion.

To my family, for their endless love, care and concern.

To my true friends (you know who you are!), for making me smile, laugh and cry.

To Terry, for his strength, enthusiasm and conviction.

To Frank (wherever you are) and Robert, for introducing me to serenity and understanding.

To Lisa, for showing me how, through all adversity, to remain the fighter.

To Julie Walton, for helping me preserve my life.

To Laura Hird and Forward Press for believing in me.

To Ilya and Natalie, for rekindling the dream!

To Fate, for giving me the gift that is my craft.
'Dream Power' by Larry Carlson
On trials and suffering

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. The marvellous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse. At the darkest hour remember that the most ardent dawn awaits and will prevail, and worry not, for worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength” –

A.K. Ramanujan, poet (1929 – 1993)
